Adding TCP/IP Support to VTAM Printer Support System (VPS)

This article appeared in the May 2000 issue of NaSPA's Technical Support magazine. The intent of the article is to help you quickly configure VPS, at release 6.2,, to support TCP/IP. It assumes you already have VPS running for SNA printing.

There are some naming considerations and usage experiences explained in the article. Some simple REXX programs are included to help convert IP addresses to MVS member names and for testing printers after you have things running. Due to space restrictions, the entire REXX program is not listed in the magazine. You may download the programs from the Samples (14K ZIP) file or request them from Editor@naspa.net.
